One
time you were my baby chicken
Now you've grown into a fox
Once upon a time I was your little rooster
Now am I just one of your cocks?
It's rough justice on you
You're going to have to trust me
It's rough justice
But you know I'll never break your heart
So put your lips to my hips, baby
And tell me what's on your mind
I know you've still got that animal attraction for me
It's been a long, long time
It's rough justice on you Whoa, we're never done and dusted, no
It's rough justice
But you know I'll never break your heart
You're feeling loose and lusty
So if you really want me
Yeah, it's rough justice
And you know I'll never break your heart - yeah
It's rough justice on you
You think you really sussed me
It's rough justice
But you know I'll never break your heart
The first time I saw you, baby
You were springing like a young gazelle
And next thing I know, way down the road
You had me flying like a bat out of hell
It's rough justice on you
You're acting too disgusted
You're going to have to trust me
But you know I'll never break your heart
I give you my position
Don't want no opposition
It's rough justice
But you know I'll never break your heart
Whoa
Now come on, baby - whoa
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah - come on baby
Whoo
Come on baby now
Come on baby
TrackTalk
That came
to me in my sleep. It's almost likeSatisfaction. Yeah, I almost sort of woke up and
said, Where's my guitar? Sometimes
you do dream a riff, you know? I had to get up, and it's really hard to
get me up. Once I go down, I go down, you know? But, I mean, it's only
a song that could get me up and start running around the room, Where's
my guitar, where did I put my guitar, before I forget it? I don't often
remember dreams, only when they're musical.

Keith Richards, July 2005
There are songs on the new Stones album, like
Rough
Justice, that remind me of the Faces so much. I did all the slide
on
my original Stay With Me guitar. It's beaten up, but it's still
got a fantastic sound.

Ron Wood, 2005
(Y)es, Rough Justice is a caricature.
-
Mick Jagger, August 2005
Yes, (Mick) is manneristic at times, but other
times he's so fucking loose and cool, like on Rough Justice.
