You look a little dressed up
You’re acting way too smart
Your face a little bit flushed
For a walk in the park

And you’re clutching your phone
As you walk in the door
And your smile's got a twist
You’re looking so hardcore

If you’ve something to say
Don’t be too direct
'Cause I feel a little fragile
Don’t hit the nail on the head

(And) I said, baby, baby, let me down real slow
Oh (No) no no no

There’s a swish in your step
There’s a gleam in your eye
Are you colouring your hair
With some new kind of dye?

But the first one to blink
Is the first one to fall
I don’t want a confrontation
I've got my back to the wall

I said, baby, baby, let me down real slow
Oh no no no
I said let me stretch out in the afterglow
Oh no no no no...

Let me down real slow
Oh no no no no...
Oh baby, baby...

TrackTalk

Mick came up with the basic song but I came up with the chimes (sings descending major chorus melody). But I'd say that one's more Mick than me, absolutely. You can tell.

Yes, (the solo is mine). Thanks. I've actually been enjoying playing guitar very much. I kind of stopped playing awhile after the last tour. I did a few sessions - with Willie Nelson and a couple of tracks here and there. But sometimes after a tour you say, Jesus, I've played enough. I can't think of another note. So you kind of lay back. But that's always a good thing, because when I do pick up the guitar again, after a few weeks or months, it's always like, Oh, yeah! Hello, pal, I missed you. It's always a pleasure to re-meet.
